Hot Cocoa Dippers

Just because it's March 1st, doesn't mean that it's spring time just yet (unfortunately). We're still drinking lots of hot cocoa around here. And recently we found the most fantastic addition to it. I made them this last weekend and we've been enjoying them since.

It's the perfect chocolate to cocoa ratio that makes these, well, perfect additions to your cocoa!

You'll need chocolate almond bark (I used four squares and made a mini batch of these), a few Ghiardelli dark chocolate squares (or dark chocolate chips), and peeps (mine are hearts, leftover from Valentines Day, but you should be able to find a plentiful supply of bunnies and chicks this time of year).

First melt the almond bark. Then add in a crunched up dark chocolate square or two. Stir.

Put the peep on a candy stick.

Dip the Peep Pop into the chocolate.

Cover entirely. Let the chocolate set up.

Stir into a cup of cocoa (preferably topped with a generous swirl of whipped cream)...

...or serve at your next brunch...

...mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!  Like I said, the perfect marshmallow-y, chocolatey, cocoa-y combination!

    1. Thanks! It seriously was so good. Just the perfect amount of melted chocolate (and I can say that cause it's Trish and Kirst made them:) ).
